Tony is a corporate partner in the mining and commodities team at international law firm Watson Farley & Williams LLP. Born in Ghana, Tony regularly advises on transactions across the mining sector in Africa and further afield. He acts for financial investors, mining companies and governments on a range of transactions including private and public equity fundraises, mezzanine and alternative finance, M&A and joint ventures. Tony has also advised on a number of infrastructure projects across Africa including ports, rail and power projects. Watson Farley & Williams has been advising the Government of the Republic of Guinea on the US$15bn Simandou project, the largest greenfield integrated mine and infrastructure investment in Africa today.
