Principal: Mining & Critical Minerals Nedbank

Tshepo has over 20 years of investment banking experience in Mining and Oil & Gas finance, specialising in project and structured finance. He joined the Nedbank Mining and Resources team in 2023 as a Principal after spending 10 years at Rand Merchant Bank as a senior transactor. He has led and concluded numerous landmark debt transactions across various commodities and jurisdictions in Africa. Tshepo trained as a metallurgist at the De Beers Group and holds a Chemical Engineering degree from UCT and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Wits.
