Lloyds Metals & Energy Limited (“LMEL”) is into the business of mining of Iron Ore, manufacturing of Steel and generation of Power. It is currently operating the below assets: i. 26 MTPA of Iron Ore mines at Surjagarh, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra ii. First sponge iron plant at Ghugus, Chandapur District, Maharashtra, with current capacity 270,000 MT/year and undergoing expansion of an additional 360,000 MT/year. The Ghugus plant has a power generation capacity of 30 MW and is adding additional capacity of 105 MW. iii. LMEL’s 70,000 Tons/per year Direct Reduced Iron Production with Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant at Konsari, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra. iv. Greenfield Phase-1, 5 Million tons per annum (MTPA) Pellet Plant with all associated facilities at Konsari, Gadchiroli Dist, is operational and Phase 2 construction is underway. v. The slurry pipeline of 10MTPA spanning 90 kilometres from Hedri Grinding plant to Konsari, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra. vi. 10 MTPA Iron Ore Grinding Plant operational at Hedri, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra. Further, we have a firm intent to invest an additional 3 billion USD in Gadchiroli to develop a massive industrial ecosystem, including the 45 MTPA BHQ Beneficiation Plant and a 5+ MTPA Integrated Steel Plant with allied infrastructure and township.
