Unlocking National Potential: The Strategic Value of Country Showcase Sessions

Country Showcases are a cornerstone of Mining Indaba’s intergovernmental agenda. These dedicated, high-impact platforms help elevate Africa’s most dynamic mining nations onto the global stage. These 90-minute sessions are curated opportunities for governments and partners to present their vision, progress, and prospects directly to a room of senior investors, financiers, and global operators.

At a time when access to critical minerals, resilient supply chains, and sustainable resource governance are at the forefront of the global mining conversation, our 2026 Country Showcases have never been more essential. They provide a unique forum for nations to demonstrate new policies, unveil project pipelines, and highlight investor-friendly reforms, positioning themselves as strategic players in the ever-evolving mining industry.

True to our 2026 theme, Stronger Together: Progress Through Partnerships, these sessions exemplify the spirit of collaboration, helping to foster trust, transparency, and mutual benefit by laying the groundwork for enduring partnerships between governments, industry, and investors.

A Focus on Local Communities

A key component of Africa's industrial advancement is the empowerment of its people. The 2026 sessions will highlight programs aimed at developing local talent, supporting small and medium enterprises, and ensuring that communities benefit directly from mining activities. Spotlighting these communities serves to further unlock pathways to inclusive, sustainable growth across the continent.
