Kakenenwa Muyangwa
Board Chairperson ZCCM Investments Holdings
Mr. Kakenenwa Muyangwa, who was recently appointed Board Chairman of ZCCM-IH PLC, is a business executive with experience spanning over 35 years. His areas of expertise are in negotiation of business transactions, business planning and strategy, corporate recovery and turnarounds, audits, as well as metals and concentrates trading and financing.
Mr. Muyangwa has previously represented ZCCM-IH on the boards of Mopani Copper Mines Plc, CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc, and Kariba Minerals Limited. Until recently, he was engaged as a long-term consultant in the Special Operations Unit of the African Development Bank based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. He also sits on the boards of First National Bank Zambia Limited and Famous Brands Zambia Limited.
Mr. Muyangwa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology in London and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
