As VP Safety, Sustainability & Systems for Anglo American Exploration, she shapes global SHEC strategy, integrating ESG, data systems, and risk management to enable safe, high impact programs. She has led multi country campaigns—from early stages to advanced exploration projects, always delivering safely and on budget—while instituting digital workflows that accelerated decisions and improved data integrity. Previously Discovery Manager for Zambia’s segment of the Central African Copper Belt, she built robust prospect portfolios and advanced permits in complex jurisdictions. A former President of AZMEC, she convened industry, government, and communities to promote responsible sector growth. Known for developing diverse, high performing teams and forging trusted stakeholder partnerships, she negotiates third party agreements, secures permits, and keeps execution predictable. A Fulbright Scholar, she holds an MSc in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines. Passionate about reimagining mining to improve lives, she brings deep technical insight with an innovation first mindset. She is fluent in Spanish and English and comfortable operating across cultures.
