CEO Automotive Industry Transformation Fund
Jabulani Selumane is the Chief Executive Officer of the Automotive Industry Transformation Fund (AITF), leading strategic initiatives aligned with the South African Automotive Masterplan (SAAM2035). Since 2020, he has driven enterprise and supplier development, transformation, and localisation within the automotive value chain. Under his leadership, AITF now serves as the Secretariat of the SAAM2035 Executive Oversight Committee (EOC), playing a central role in coordinating strategic alignment and acting as the implementation partner for key programmes critical to achieving SAAM2035 goals. Additionally, AITF has assumed responsibility for managing the Automotive Supply Chain Competitiveness Initiative (ASCCI), focused on enhancing supplier performance and global competitiveness. Jabulani is a passionate strategist with expertise in business development, stakeholder relations, and operational transformation. Through his leadership, AITF continues to be a catalytic force in building a globally competitive and inclusive automotive industry in South Africa.
