Katlego Letsoalo is a mining engineer with extensive experience across the South African mining sector, specialising in safety management, policy development, and mineral economics. He has held technical and strategic roles at leading industry organisations, including South 32, the Chamber of Mines and Anglo-American Platinum.  Katlego currently serves as the Manager for Macro & Commodity Outlook at Valterra Platinum, where he provides insights on global macroeconomic trends, commodity markets, and their implications for the platinum group metals industry. His work combines deep operational understanding with analytical expertise to support strategic decision‑making across the mining value chain.
