Principal Investment Officer - Manufacturing & Consumer Services International Finance Corporation

Ken Osei is a Principal Investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Private Sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG). Ken is the Hub Leader-Manufacturing & Consumer Services for IFC’s Southern Africa Region, and leads a team that originates, structures, and manages investments in the sectors of Manufacturing, Tourism, Retail, Property, Healthcare, Education. At IFC, Ken has worked across the African continent as an Equity Specialist across multiple sectors including in the manufacturing in sectors such as Building Materials, Automotive Supply Chain, etc. He has extensive experience in equity, debt, quasi-equity, and mezz financing for investments, and has worked alongside other Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and commercial banks, and institutional investors including Pension Funds, Asset Managers, etc. Prior to joining IFC, Ken worked in Management Consulting, and Corporate Finance Advisory in the US with Global Corporates, and in Africa. Ken graduated Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from George Washington University, Washington DC.
