Executive Secretary Botswana Mineworkers Union
A trained lawyer (pursuing a Masters in Global Labour Policy at the Witwatersrand University) focusing on labour, trade and investments, serves as the Executive Secretary of Botswana Mine Workers Union. This role drives the strategic objectives of the union, from sectoral priorities, sustainable development, management of government relations, labour and trade union rights, trade and investment policy monitoring. He is the chief advisor to the union leadership and responsible for trade union compliance with its regulatory environment.
He has previously done consultancy work for regional and international organizations such as the UN, Solidarity Centre and Health Focus.
He also serves on the SAFOD - Southern African Federation of the Disabled and YALI RLC - Alumni Advisory Board
