Regional SHEQ Manager Minopex
Louise Jordaan is an accomplished SHEQ professional with more than 19 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management within the mining sector. She currently serves as the Regional SHEQ Manager for Minopex’s Eastern Region, a role she has held since May 2024. Prior to this appointment, Louise dedicated 14 years to Minopex as a SHEQ Coordinator, where she played a pivotal role in driving legal compliance, strengthening operational controls, and supporting site teams in achieving SHEQ excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Disaster and Safety Management and has completed several specialised qualifications, including Advanced Safety Management (UNISA), Incident Management, Risk Management, and Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). She also holds Facilitator and Assessor credentials and is currently in the process of completing her Honours in Safety Management. As a registered SHEQ Professional, Louise provides strategic leadership grounded in risk-based decision-making, continual improvement, and strong governance. Her work focuses on embedding a proactive safety culture, enhancing environmental stewardship, and aligning operational objectives with organisational and client requirements. Driven by adaptability, passion, and a commitment to meaningful impact, she continues to advance SHEQ operational excellence while fostering workplaces where people and systems thrive.
