Dr Quentin Williams is a Partner for Deloitte AI and Data since 2019 focussing on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-fuelled organisations, with specialisation in Digitilisation, Analytics, MLOps, AI and advanced Data Science. As a seasoned researcher and consultant in this space for 19 years, Quentin has vast experience in the research and development of AI solutions that enable business sustainability, innovation and growth. This includes the development of organisation wide strategies for AI; Operationalisation of Analytics and ML (MLOps), Enabling cloud analytics transformations and the establishment of large scale training, capability and policy development initiatives, in particular for the National Department (Ministry) of Science and Innovation. Previously Quentin worked for the CSIR (2006 to 2019) as the Strategic Research Manager of the Meraka Institute establishing ICT and AI research programmes at national level. He was also Manager for Emerging Research and Human Capital Development – creating and implementing student training programs - and the Southern Africa manager for the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Office – looking at internet (HTML, CSS, Javascript), Data Science and AI standards for South Africa.
