Mr Koppeschaar has over 20 years experience, in large corporate senior financial and management roles. He currently holds the position of Finance Director at Exxaro Resources which is a JSE Top-40 publicly listed company.  

Riaan offers deep corporate and financial leadership experience and has been instrumental in strategy development as Exxaro transforms from a predominantly coal mining company to a diversified mining and energy solutions business. 

He has spearheaded several multi-billion rand local international acqusitions and has well developed Bank & Investor Relationship management skills. Riaan has a blend of Financial, Commercial and Legal skills, proven successful in driving sustainable growth and financial vitality.
