Alia Instruments is market leader in non-nuclear bulk slurry density meters for mining. Our ISO 9001-2015 certified density meters are manufactured in The Netherlands. The development originated in the dredging industry due to a need to optimize productivity during dredging operations. Through commercial success, further development continued at Alia in partnership with the large Dutch high-technology company Demcon Advanced Mechatronics.

The ADM is an accelerometer-based mechatronic system for full-bore bulk density measurement in abrasive, large diameter, or high-solids slurries. The measuring principle based on the proven physics of Sir Isaac Newton’s second law F = m x a has been implemented in its industrial design. The advantages of ADM are:
