Invest Northern Ireland is a regional economic development agency, working under the Department for the Economy. Our mandate is to grow the local economy by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally, and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland. In Africa, the Invest NI mandate is to assist NI companies expand their business across Africa, focusing on the priority markets of South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria Tanzania and Kenya, as well as exploring new markets of interest. Within the mining sector, the focus will be on promoting materials handling companies, as Northern Ireland has a strong industrial heritage and extensive experience in sustainable equipment technology, including: • Mobile Crushing, Screening, Conveying & Stacking • Mobile Bulk Materials Handling machinery • Wet Processing, Silica Sand & Aggregates Washing, Tailings • Conveyor Belts & Components • Condition monitoring Sensors
