Company & Project Background: Timersoi National Uranium Company (Timersoi) is a state-owned enterprise established by the Government of the Republic of Niger to oversee the exploration, exploitation, and management of the country's uranium resources. As one of Africa's leading uranium producers, Niger holds significant reserves, and Timersoi plays a pivotal role in advancing national interests over these assets. Timersoi focuses on optimizing resource extraction to drive economic development, ensuring benefits flow directly to the Nigerien people. The company is tasked with the full spectrum of uranium activities, including mining, processing, and marketing. Key Project: Timersoi is actively advancing the Toulouk 2 project, located in Niger's Tim Mersoi Basin. The project features JORC-compliant inferred resources totaling 43.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 177 ppm eU₃O₈, equivalent to approximately 16.8 million pounds of U₃O₈. These estimates are supported by extensive historical data, including 41,671 meters of drilling, airborne geophysical surveys, and ground-based assessments that have identified surface anomalies and potential depth extensions. Beyond the established northern zone, significant untapped potential exists in the central and southern sectors, encompassing unexplored uranium anomalies, higher-grade mineralization targets, and associated valuable by-products such as rare earth elements, silver, and copper.
