Kpirgbéne Wanda
Geological and Mining Research Director Togo
Kpirgbéne Wanda is an exploration geologist and hold a master’s degree in applied geophysics. He is working with the Government of the Republique of Togo as the acting Director of Geological and Mining Research within the Ministry of Mines and Energy Resources. He is in charge of execution and monitoring of geological and mining exploration and the management of the mining cadastre.
He has over 15 years’ experience in geological and geophysical exploration, mining law enforcement and geo-mining data management and preservation.
Prior to joining the ministry of mines an energy resources, he worked in the private sector as a consultant geologist in several drinking water supply projects in Togo. He is advocate of sustainable mining and minerals beneficiation in his country and in Africa.
