CEO African Association of Automotive Manufacturers

Dave Coffey joined the automotive industry in 1995 as a component manufacturer; he graduated from the University of Natal in South Africa with a degree in B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering in 1984 and obtained an MBA from the University of Cape Town in 1992. He is currently the CEO of the African Association of Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM). Prior to AAAM he was the Managing Director of Shatterprufe, a South African manufacturer and distributer of automotive glass to OEM and export markets. Dave has also been active in various business organisations during his career, including being President of the South African, National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers (NAACAM) twice, as well as being President of the Nelson Mandela Bay Chamber of Commerce.
