Driving sustainable investment in African Mining

Dr. Aditya Ramji

Director - Global South Centre for Clean Transportation University of California, Davis

Dr. Aditya Ramji is an economist, focusing on sustainable transportation, electric mobility, and supply chains. He holds a PhD in Transportation Technology and Policy from the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS), University of California, Davis. He co-founded the India and Global South Clean Transportation and Energy Program at UC Davis, and currently serves as its Director, overseeing research programs focused on policy and regulatory design for advancing zero emission transport in developing and emerging economies as well as critical minerals and supply chains for energy transitions. Prior to this, Aditya comes with experience in the automotive industry and in energy policy, including advising governments and international organizations.
