Maritime Regional Director of Mines and Geology Togo

Gnemessassam KARAMON NAGAZAMA is regional Director of Mines and Geology of the Maritime Region in Togo since January 2016. Holder of a Specialized Higher Education Diploma (DESS) in Applied Geology "Mineral and Energy Raw Materials" from the Faculty of Sciences of Moulay Ismaïl University, Meknes (Morocco) and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the Faculty of Sciences of Mohamed V University, Rabat (Morocco). Recruited as a mining and geology engineer at the Ministry of Mines of Togo in 2009. Was Head of the Mining Inspection and Classified Establishments Division at the General Directorate of Mines and Geology in Lomé from October 2011 to January 2016. Took part in short course from August to November 2011 in Perth on "Mining Resources: Regulation and Management" organized by the Western Australian School of Mines, Curtin University. Participation from October to December 2013 in short course organized in Accra (Ghana) and Brisbane (Australia) by the University of Queensland on “occupational health, safety and environment in the resources sector”.
